Ally & Dave – Long Reef Wedding
Ally & Dave picked early October to plan their perfect Long Reef Wedding. A beautiful time in Sydney, especially on the northern beaches where you get the warmth of summer and the beautiful sea breeze. I have had the pleasure of shooting the weddings of quite a few friends this year. Many photographers shy away from this, due to the personal attachment but I find for me it creates an even stronger connection with the images I produce. Having known Ally & Dave for a few years now, seeing them add Oscar to their family and watch their relationship unfold has been awesome, with it culminating at their Long Reef wedding at the Long Reef Golf Club.
There were so many little stories on the day (including Oscar the dachshund running off with some ‘chicken fillets’), amazing details throughout and an all around incredible job by Ally in putting everything together. Ally & Dave had the ceremony on the lawn overlooking Collaroy Beach up towards the north. We then scooted around Long Reef headland for photos and had a lot of fun with their bridal party. The reception continued at Long Reef Golf Club with some heart warming speeches and a wild dance floor. I feel privileged that I was asked to be involved and able to capture some beautiful photos for these two. Wishing you many years of happiness together!
Long Reef Wedding in Spring
Long Reef is a beautiful headland on the northern beaches of Sydney. Featuring on the headland is the Long Reef Golf Club which is a beautiful location to make the most of this area when celebrating your wedding day. The venue has a well spaced reception room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The ceremony is right on a lawn next to the club with a view back down to the beach. It is very personal and a beautiful spot for a wedding.
