Jordan & Cassandra – Amalfi Coast Engagement

Ever been to a location that completely inspired you and took your breath away in the same moment? This gorgeous Amalfi Coast engagement session took place on a hike called the Valle Delle Ferriere. I had the pleasure of travelling to the Amalfi Coast in Italy to document the destination wedding of Jordan & Cassandra. After we had all arrived and met up in Ravello, we decided to hang out and capture some engagement photos together. When in Rome (Ravello) as they say.

I had walked this gorgeous hike the previous day and to my delight Jordan and Cassandra were all ears and keen to explore it with me. The hike starts high up above the Amalfi Coast at a small village named Pontone. From there you wind your way along the ridge lines until you head down to the valley floor. Upon arriving in the valley you find a beautiful stream which is lined by old flour mills, paper mills and iron works from hundreds of years ago. The beautiful ruins are dotted along the valley as you follow the stream from high up in the valley down to Amalfi Town. We hiked our way along, exploring each of the ruins and taking our time by the stream and waterfalls.

It was a great way for us to unwind, catch up and capture some beautiful memories before the wedding the following day. I cannot wait to share the full story from the trip, and the wonderful wedding that followed.

Amalfi Coast Engagement

I absolutely love photographing engagements and engagement sessions during my travels. I have been lucky enough to capture some beautiful engagement sessions around the world. It is such a wonderful way to experience a new location, or create memories in an old favourite. I was so excited to capture this Amalfi Coast engagement whilst travelling to Ravello to document the wedding of these two the following day.

Engagement sessions are a lot of fun. It is a great way to get used to being in front of the camera. I am happy to help you pick a location for your engagement session.
