Pauline & Dru – Simmer on the Bay Wedding
Pauline & Dru married in late summer in Sydney at the lovely Mint on Macquarie St and followed by a Simmer on the Bay Wedding reception.
They really wanted their day to reflect how important their friends and family are to them, and to spend as much time as possible celebrating and revelling with each and every one of their guests. I really loved their speeches. They were heartfelt, real and honest. Especially paying respect to their parents and families.
I think Dru singing to Pauline really wrapped up the formalities and set the tone for the party to continue. He took me aside for a quiet whisky and I feel really lucky that I was able to capture the day in my own way for them. Weddings such as this really shape the way I love to document wedding days, and connect me with like minded clients.
Thank you Pauline & Dru for having me along and having such a wonderful wedding day. I feel lucky to have been part of it.
Simmer on the Bay Wedding
This wedding took place at two of my favourite venues in Sydney. The Mint is such a beautiful piece of architecture right in the heart of the city. Simmer on the Bay is part of the historical wharves of Walsh Bay and capture an industrial look and feel of Sydney of past times. They both hold their own unique atmosphere and create a beautiful backdrop for wedding celebrations.
