Roll Ten – Winter in Orange
Sooner or later, Orange in the Central West of New South Wales had to feature in The Weekly Roll. And what a fantastic roll of memories this is! We love visiting the beautiful Orange area, especially to see our friends Josh & Jess. On this particular trip we decided to head out to experience Winter in Orange. Its chilly (ok its really cold) and we explored the local areas of Orange, Stuart Town and the little connecting communities between Molong and Milthorpe. It just so happened that on one of these days we lucked out with snow. I love snow, but I have never been to the snow (can you believe it?). There was a trip to the snowies to build an igloo many moons ago, there was no film and there was no igloo (perhaps a story for another time). I will have more film to share from this trip at some point, but I loved this roll for how it instantly took me back to our adventures. I captured one of my most favourite photos of Rose ever (she actually let me) and that morning in the snow, is one of the most enjoyable days I have had in shooting personal work for myself. We finished up our visit by meeting our friends Michael & Hannah in Mudgee for a weekend of wine tasting. Hopefully I shall find some more rolls from the end of the trip, and that will be another story for another weekly roll.
